AVAX climbed 7 percent to $6.88 after Avalanche secured $1 billion in tokenized equity, extending a rally built on real-world asset momentum.
Securitize has distributed $976 million in asset value on Avalanche, a 123 percent increase over the past 30 days, according to the tokenization platform.
The tokenized equity commitment adds to a broader RWA push on Avalanche's C-Chain. The network ranks ninth among blockchains by RWA holder count with 9,218 holders, per RWA.xyz, trailing Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain. Japan's Progmat, the country's largest security token platform, migrated $2.7 billion in tokenized assets onto Avalanche last month, covering more than 64 percent of Japan's security token issuance value.
The $1 billion commitment strengthens Avalanche's position as a leading RWA chain and could draw additional institutional capital. AVAX reclaimed the 20-day EMA at $6.55 and the 50-day EMA at $6.79, with the next resistance at $7.00 and the 100-day EMA near $7.49. A sustained hold above $6.75-$6.80 keeps the breakout structure intact.
The rally follows a separate government-backed deployment. Kenya's National Examinations Council placed between 30 million and 35 million academic records on Avalanche through a blockchain-based credential verification system, according to Ava Labs. The rollout covers examination records dating back to 1989, with nearly one million students per year expected to receive blockchain-backed digital certificates beginning with the 2025-2026 graduating classes.
Avalanche's stablecoin market cap stands near $1.5 billion, keeping the network among the leading stablecoin chains. The Avalanche9000 upgrade, which went live on the Fuji Testnet on July 28, introduced decoupled continuous transaction execution on the C-Chain, separating transaction execution from block generation to improve smart contract processing. The upgrade also lowered the minimum staking duration and added auto-renewed staking for validators.
From a technical standpoint, AVAX's Relative Strength Index sits near 57, above its signal line but below the overbought threshold of 70. The 4-hour chart shows a bullish MACD crossover with expanding positive histogram, while volume increased alongside the breakout. On the downside, losing the 20-day EMA at $6.55 would weaken the current recovery and place recent gains under pressure.
The tokenized equity milestone and the Kenya deployment give Avalanche two institutional use cases outside traditional crypto markets. Whether these translate into sustained network usage and token demand will determine if AVAX can hold above $6.75-$6.80 and push toward the 100-day EMA at $7.49 in the coming sessions.
