The Ameren Transmission segment primarily consists of the aggregated electric transmission businesses of Ameren Illinois and Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois (ATXI). The firm owns an integrated transmission system that is composed of the transmission assets of Ameren Missouri, Ameren Illinois and ATXI.
