HyperFlash Rolls Out 1M Weekly Points Program for Early Users
HyperFlash, a liquid staking protocol on the Hyperliquid network, initiated a points program in February 2026 to reward early adopters. The protocol distributes 1,000,000 points weekly to users who stake its native HYPE token and engage with the platform. Backed by investors including Naval Ravikant and Accomplice VC, HyperFlash functions similarly to Lido's stETH model, issuing liquid fHYPE tokens to stakers. This allows users to maintain liquidity and use their assets in other DeFi protocols while earning rewards from staking and future MEV extraction.
The weekly points are allocated based on a proprietary "Trading Score," which measures a user's total contribution to the ecosystem. This score aggregates HYPE staking amounts, trading volume on the platform's terminal, referral activity, and the use of automated trading bots. The system is designed to reward consistent, long-term engagement over short-term speculative activity ahead of a potential, but still unconfirmed, token generation event (TGE).
Trading Score and Referrals Drive Point Allocation
To maximize point accumulation, participants must focus on activities that directly build their Trading Score. The primary method is staking HYPE tokens to receive fHYPE, which automatically qualifies the holder for the weekly points distribution. Further engagement, such as executing trades or deploying automated market-making bots on the HyperFlash terminal, directly increases a user's score and corresponding share of the weekly points pool.
A significant multiplier is the platform's referral system, which adds 20% of a referred user's trading volume directly to the referrer's own Trading Score. This mechanism incentivizes network growth and allows users to increase their point allocation without committing additional capital. Holding fHYPE in a wallet is sufficient to earn points, but leveraging it as collateral in other Hyperliquid protocols can generate additional yield while continuing to accumulate rewards from the main program.
