Gerber Asset Management, a $592 million Ohio-based RIA, disclosed a 12,958-share position in the Franklin XRP ETF in a July 29 SEC filing, the latest in a series of institutional disclosures this month.
The filing follows disclosures from three other registered investment advisers. Vista Finance LLC reported a 129,958-share position in the Franklin XRP ETF valued at approximately $11.45 million on July 16. Gallacher Capital Management disclosed 86,744 shares of the Canary XRP ETF worth about $961,126 on July 17. CPR Investments, a Michigan-based RIA, reported 36,619 shares of the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF valued at roughly $363,627 on July 15, according to SEC 13F filings.
US spot XRP ETFs recorded net inflows of 532,500 XRP on July 27, following 5.09 million XRP on July 21 and 6.10 million XRP on July 16, per SoSoValue data. The combined market holds approximately $683.66 million in assets, led by the Bitwise XRP ETF at $243 million, the Canary XRP ETF at $223 million and the Franklin XRP ETF at $167 million.
The filings show growing appetite among registered investment advisers for XRP exposure through regulated ETF vehicles, though positions remain modest relative to Bitcoin ETF allocations. XRP traded at $1.09 as of press time, up about 3% in 24 hours, with a market capitalization near $68 billion. The token sits roughly 70% below its record of $3.65, set on July 18, 2025.
Separately, Grayscale Investments CEO Peter Mintzberg filed notice with the SEC on July 28 to sell 2,611 shares of the Grayscale XRP Trust ETF for $53,394.95, or $20.45 per share. The filing revealed the trust's outstanding share count fell 51% to 2,840,100 over six months, as redemptions outpaced creations. Grayscale's GXRP now holds about $58 million in assets, or roughly 6% of the US spot XRP ETF category. Two other Grayscale insiders — founder Barry Silbert and chief legal officer Craig Salm — filed similar notices in January, when GXRP traded near $37 per share.
The divergence between rising RIA disclosures and Grayscale's shrinking trust share count shows the uneven nature of institutional XRP demand. ETF desks sat out 10 of July's 17 trading days, according to BeInCrypto's XRP flow tracker, suggesting buying remains concentrated among a small group of early adopters rather than broad-based institutional accumulation.
