BNB's three-day chart shows a broadening wedge targeting $735, but a dense EMA cluster between $625 and $678 stands in the way.

BNB rose over 3% to $620, a three-week high, after Binance teased a possible integration with Elon Musk's X platform on Aug. 11.
The exchange posted a single-word message, "Soon," on X alongside an image of a device covered by a gold cloth, with a partially visible "Continue to X" button underneath, according to the post. The teaser did not disclose what product Binance plans to launch, and neither Binance nor X has confirmed a partnership involving payments, trading, or crypto services.
One possibility being discussed is a connection involving Binance Pay, the exchange's crypto-payment service that supports more than 100 cryptocurrencies including BNB, Bitcoin, Ether, and stablecoins. Such an integration could expand Binance's distribution through X and increase BNB-related utility, though that remains speculation until either company provides further details.
The prospect of an X-related integration appears to have caught traders' attention, coinciding with a rebound in BNB following the post. As of Aug. 12, BNB was trading near $611, having reclaimed its 20-period exponential moving average around $591. The three-day relative strength index has also recovered above 50, indicating improving bullish momentum without entering overbought territory.
BNB's three-day chart is showing signs of a broader recovery as the token rebounds from the lower boundary of a broadening wedge pattern. A continued rebound could put BNB on course toward the wedge's upper trendline, with the 0.236 Fibonacci retracement level near $735 serving as the key interim upside target. The pattern, characterized by expanding price swings, suggests rising volatility and a potential directional breakout.
However, BNB must first clear a dense resistance cluster formed by its 50-, 100-, and 200-period exponential moving averages between roughly $625 and $678. Failure to break this region could delay the move toward $735 and send BNB back toward the wedge's lower support near $540-$550.
A confirmed Binance-X partnership could significantly boost BNB's utility and adoption, potentially driving substantial upside beyond the near-term $700-$735 targets. It could also lift demand for exchange-related tokens and integrations with mainstream social platforms, with Bitcoin and Ether serving as reference points for the broader market's reaction to such developments. For now, traders are watching whether BNB can sustain momentum above the $625-$678 resistance zone.
