AVAX gained 5.9% to $7.175 on Aug. 20, clearing the $7 ceiling that capped its August recovery, as tokenized assets on Avalanche crossed $3 billion.
According to a Delphi Consulting report, tokenized financial assets on Avalanche have grown to more than $3 billion from $740 million in October 2025.
Progmat, Japan's largest security-token platform, moved to a dedicated Avalanche network in June, bringing about $1.2 billion in tokenized securities. OpenTrade's assets on the network rose to $190 million from about $60 million, while Grove Finance accounts for another $260 million through institutional credit products. Securitize is building a European platform on Avalanche expected to cover all 27 EU countries.
Staying above $7 would let AVAX work toward the $8.60 area, where it previously saw heavier trading, with $10 as a larger test. Falling back below $7 would return the token to the range it has been unable to cross since June.
Tokenized assets cross $3 billion
The growth spans securities, credit, and other financial assets rather than a single product, giving Avalanche a broader presence in the push to bring traditional finance onto blockchains. The figures come with caveats: Delphi produced the report through a paid, fixed-fee engagement with Avalanche, though it said payment was not tied to the findings, and some data came from Avalanche itself.
AVAX clears $7 resistance
AVAX reached $7.317 at its highest point on Aug. 20, with trading volume rising during the move, according to the daily chart. The breakout marks buyers' first meaningful break above August resistance. The move comes as real-world asset tokenization draws institutional attention to the network, with AVAX outperforming as the broader crypto market showed strength.
The breakout is still fresh, and AVAX has risen quickly. The $7 level now acts as support; holding it opens the path toward $8.60, while a drop back below would put the token back in the range it has traded since June.
